You might even be tempted to stretch the truth a little on your resume. An estimated 50% of resumes contain false information even though less than 15% of the population admit to lying on them. Some think that not remembering exact employment dates is small fish in comparison to adding a degree you never had or falsifying references but the fact is, they all matter and if you’re caught lying about them, you can hang up your chances of landing a job.
